Lead Safe Practices

On April 22, the EPA instituted new lead safe practices for all home remodelers. American Exteriors is one of the few companies that is completely certified in lead safe practices and has been compliant with this legislation for months. Make sure if you work with a contractor that they are certified to prevent fines.

Energy Saving Tips

As we enter summer full swing, remember, there are some simple ways to save energy and still stay cool.  Don’t forget to: Replace Air Conditioner Filters- Dirty filters restrict airflow and can cause the system to run longer, increasing energy use.  Replace filters monthly for maximum benefit.
